Asked by a reporter about the moment of release, Hubbard answered, "I had heard it many times before and I reached the state where seeing is believing." Hubbard said, "Actions speak louder than words. I never believed what they said," adding, "It was only when they gave me new clothes and started taking me toward the prison exit that I finally believed it." I was really going somewhere."
